I hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend, and I truly wish that you indulged in some Easter chocolate without feelings of guilt and/or shame! Of course eating healthy most of the time is necessary to achieve optimal health within our bodies. But….as you know, I believe that in order to be mentally healthy you need to indulge from time to time too.
In my Free Weight loss guide “The busy woman guide to eating on the go” you can read all about my own struggles, and my own weight loss journey. Most diets were too restrictive for me, they would lead into a cycle of binging (and purging). (“Get my free e-book” top right corner of this page).
Anyways, I want YOU to be successful on your own journey, wether you are working with me or not. My nature is to give, I always have and always will. If you want change for yourself, you need to be willing to change some things in your life. One of those things might be, start journaling. I know, I remember the days I hated journaling. Those were also the days were I kept on falling into the same downward spiral. Remember, it’s not only about the food!
So, I challenge you to start journaling today. It doesn’t have to be long, just short bullet points. The fact is, that through journaling, you become honest with yourself, and you can stop your self sabotaging actions/beliefs.
Here is a link to show you, how journaling and losing weight can work together:
What if we make a deal right here right now, that you will start journaling today.
Make an entry for every day, and list 5 things each day. What you can write about: – new insights – beliefs that you have about yourself, that you made up yourself, so are not a fact or true – setbacks – things you are grateful for – things that went well – that person that makes you feel not good enough – that person that gives you positive energy – emotional eating – what you want more of in your life – what you want less of in your life – and anything else you want to vent about.
And what if I make it extra worthwhile by adding a FREE PDF worksheet every month. You can keep the sheet safe in your journal. Download my PDF for weight loss success here:
It all might sound silly to you, and I once was there with you. Trust me, it’s not silly. It’s all those little changes that you make into your life, that make a difference on a whole new level. It only takes a couple minutes of your day, so you can do it whenever you have a spare time. I have my journal always on my couch, so I can write in it every night. And the best thing is, sometimes I go back and read old passages. It makes me feel so great and I feel so empowering to see that I made progress in certain areas. So you can do the same!
So how willing are you to change? It takes little baby steps every day, little steps of showing up for yourself.
Show me some love on Instagram, and share your thoughts with me. Would love to hear from you!
