As a bulimia/binge eating survivor, I forgave myself for all the harm I inflicted on myself. 6 hour bike rides after every binge, abusing laxatives, diuretics...the list is endless.
I fully love and accept myself. And once I did this with my clients, it was easy-peasy to eat, train and have success.
After decades of restrictive diets, overcoming Bulimia (and Lyme Disease) and the depression and sadness that comes with it, I finally found balance. In my mid-forties, I lost 35 lbs. and have kept it off without an ounce of deprivation.
My lifestyle is fun…and yeah, I eat a cheeseburger with cheese and mayonnaise – and a glass of wine, too. And I eat dessert, too.
Forgiveness and understanding allowed the mind to heal. And the weight fell off as a by-product.
No more hamster-wheel. No more feeling stuck, or like you’re a failure.
