Your life probably feels like an endless cycle of dieting and binge eating, followed by another cycle exactly like it.
Like there’s no point now, right? Just give up and give in…
I know I used to feel like that.
All the time.
You spend so much of your life living and reliving the same cycles, and it wears you down.
Leaving you feeling like, “it’s too late, an old dog can’t learn new tricks.”
Well, I call bullshit on that.
My Little Story
Back in 1994, when my family and I were living in the Netherlands (a place some would love…just not me) I lived my own personal Groundhog Day…
- Go out for a drive after having a small binge at home
- Stop at a quaint local ice cream shop (I was sad, I deserved the treat)
- Finish it in the car
- Pop into the gas station on the way back (tank was full, but I felt empty)
- So…grab a few Magnum bars and some candy!
And forget the fact that I only started that cycle each time because I didn’t keep candy in the house…
Like that was going to stop me.
I suffered that cycle of bingeing, dieting and bingeing, again and again from the time I was 18 until I was in my 40’s.
Throw in bulimia, and I had a recipe for “why even try? Just give in…” written all over the rest of my life.
But I didn’t…
I overcame those habits, broke that vicious cycle and came out on the other side. I conquered it, I’m freaking proud of myself, and you can do it too!
You probably feel like you don’t know what to do first, or that you aren’t sure you know the steps.
It involves getting some healing around food. And healing your mind, letting go of all the limiting beliefs you’ve built up with your relationship with food.
You don’t have to feel alone, or like you don’t have a way out.
Stop The Struggle
A lot of women in their 40’s and 50’s (and older) are struggling with eating disorders or disordered eating. It’s a topic we don’t really talk about; how women are suffering with food.
I was always in my own head about it, spending so much time worrying about binge eating again, or breaking my next diet.
Always filled with fear, anxiety, guilt and shame and regret, letting it take up all my space and time.
But when I finally let it all go, and was healed (at 43!) I was able to find my passion, and my purpose in life.
I became a nutrition wellness coach and online personal trainer, here to help women like you find your passion in life.
Because once you let all that mind garbage go, you have so much room for all these amazing things. So much time and energy for the stuff you want!
You can spend your life living it, not drifting from one point of suffering to the next.
We don’t have to suffer from endless binge eating and dieting any longer.
You can let it go, start to heal, and give your time and energy and love to the people in your life. You can shine your light!
I want you to know I’m here for you, and that there truly is hope.
