Feeling good in your own body is so important…self-love is so important.
Which is why I’m all about being inclusive around here. Respecting everyone, feeling love for yourself, and everyone else no matter what shape, size, whatever…
And if you love the body you’re in now, congratulations! You’re one of the lucky ones, who feels like they are the size they are meant to be…
But, if you’re one of the many who isn’t satisfied, who wants to lose a little (or a lot) bit of weight, and look good in the clothes they love, well, you’re in the right place.
I’m Jetty, the founder of TruJetty, and the Rebels Weight Loss Club, and I’m here to guide you on your weight loss journey!
You don’t need to be skinny to love yourself, but if you want to be, you can! That’s why I’m here, to help you if you want to lose weight and learn to love yourself in the process.
Learn to Love Yourself
As I said at the top, that’s what it’s really all about here, folks.
You have to love yourself, and want good things for yourself, and the change will come.
I know, because I wasn’t like that for a long, long time. It took me more than 40 years (and a lot of struggle) to learn to really love myself.
Back then, I was a people pleaser. I wanted to please everyone. Because I wanted their validation, and I wanted their attention.
I was scared to be turned down.
So I was giving away “the right to love me” to others. My validation was dependent on someone else; needing other people to give me what I didn’t (or couldn’t) feel about myself.
I had adapted different personalities in order to please different people, or to fit in.
And after many years going on and on, suffering like that, I got hit again: I contracted Lyme disease…
THAT SUCKED! But, it also made me see the light and gave me a second chance in life.
So I did a lot of inner work, and a significant amount of outer work too.
I lost weight and finally found peace with food after decades of bulimia, binge eating and yo-yo dieting.
And to be honest, losing the weight was great, and leaving bulimia behind, amazing! But along the process, what really matters, is I finally developed self-love.
I started to truly love myself from the inside, and the outside. All my flaws and imperfections, and letting go of judgements I put on other people.
No longer letting my insecurities and fears control my actions, so instead of pushing those feelings away, I learned to love them, accept them, and deal with them…
I can’t tell you the difference it has made in my life!
The Rebel Lifestyle
And that’s what I want you to know about coming to work with me. That’s what I’m teaching my clients who come to me for weight loss.
It isn’t going to be just the same-old, Jenny Craig or Weight Watchers, learning to survive starving and denying yourself.
We dig deep and try to find out what is at the core of your weight issues, and what is stopping you from starting the self-love journey.
All that deep down internal stuff, that you’ve hidden away like boxes in the attic (or basement, or garage…where you store things!)
We’re going to start unraveling and unpacking that, so you can move forward, finally loving yourself, without all of that “head garbage”.
So there will finally be room for you to start telling yourself positive things, and reaffirming them, on a daily basis.
Telling your body “I hear you. I’m here for you, and I’ll never leave you alone.”
And if you truly start to practice self-love, you can leave all that other stuff (that is only getting in your way) behind.
There’ll be less wasted time spent judging other people, gossiping about how someone looks, or what they’re wearing, or feeling codependent; unable to make any decisions for yourself.
You can just be you and do you.
And that, my rebels is an ongoing journey. There’s no end goal. but you have the ability to make one positive change to yourself, every single day. That’s pretty powerful, right?
If you like this and you want to know more, please reach out to me. I hear you, I’m here for you, and you don’t have to be alone.
And, to end on some fun news: I’m going to be doing more of this, every week on IGTV! Starting soon!
