You are not a shame.
And you don’t have to live your life through suffering, only focused on food (the eating or not eating it), weight and pounds (or kilos), bingeing (or dieting), eating disorders, shame and guilt…
So on, and so on!
You don’t have to suffer that shame, or feel like you’re a failure because you’ve gone through these patterns over and over, just because you’ve tried beating them before and it didn’t work.
Most of your behaviors that you are doing right now, like going on another new diet, and then binge eating, again…all those habits, they’re programmed in your subconscious mind.
They probably have been (for most of us) since we were little.
So you can’t really blame yourself when a diet fails because you’ve fallen back on old patterns and bad thinking…
Like driving your car, it goes into neutral, right?
It’s nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about. It is a real problem. And we should burn the stigma.
I actively suffered from bulimia from the age of 18 until I was 40 years old.
For those of you who don’t like math…that’s 22 years of suffering.
And then, after I overcame that struggle, I was still binge eating for a couple years. It wasn’t until I found the nutrition plan that made sense to me that I really recovered…
I finally changed my thinking, and got my car out of neutral!
No More Limits
Changing all those years of thinking wasn’t easy. I had to choose to get rid of all of those limiting beliefs. And, I had help…
I had life coaching & I had a nutrition coach.
That’s what I’m telling you here. It’s not a shame that you can’t fix this on your own because it’s been with you for so long!
The fact that you…
- Pull up your chair in front of the fridge and binge eat…
- Have an eating disorder that you struggle to keep secret…
- Think your willpower is gone or broken or never there to begin with…
- Can only think about food that is eaten, not eaten, weight lost or gained…
They’re all behaviors and limiting beliefs, and you can break them.
And I want you to know, you don’t have to suffer alone.
Let go of all those old stories and old beliefs you have around food that really don’t make sense, are only negative, that paint you as a failure, or leave you stuck in neutral.
You can leave that shame behind and be that confident, calm, brave, bold, woman again (the one that you’ve been all along).
All those behaviors and beliefs you have around food are like that, right? They feel so true, and want to stick around, but let me ask you…
How have they been working for you till, now? They weren’t working for me!
And like I said above, it took me a long time, but I finally told them…f%@& off!
Leave Suffering Behind
We’re not here on Earth to suffer. My parents believed that they were, and always lived in a lacking mindset. Life was all about not having, lacking and suffering.
Life is all about thriving!
Change is possible. Permanent weight loss is possible, even in your 40s and 50s.
And it doesn’t have to be hard. And it shouldn’t be all about hunger and restriction.
It doesn’t have to feel like climbing Mount Everest with a sack of rocks on your back.
Because yes, you do (and have always had) powerful willpower. You just don’t believe it!
Let go of that limiting belief, and allow yourself to reach your true potential, and your ideal weight along with it.
There’s a simple, easy secret. One step you can take to get started. The same step I took…
Asking for help, the true sign of strength.
I did it, and it changed my life.
And now, my clients are asking me for help. And I help them with a solid nutrition plan that makes sense.
We’re meeting online twice a month, sometimes weekly, whatever they want or need for their specific case.
That can be us, working together to break those repeating lies and thoughts, leaving that shame behind.
We’ll tackle all those old stories, and let them go…
Shed the eternal layers of limiting beliefs, and as you do, you’ll shed the weight too!
Break The Shame Cycle
It’s not all about the food. That’s why you keep on being stuck, blaming yourself, and feeling like a failure.
But you know, you’re not a failure. You truly aren’t!
You are enough and you deserve…a better life, of thriving and joy and to feel good about your body.
So if you’re interested in taking that step, I would love to be the one to help you.
But if not me, I hope you reach out to someone. Find a therapist, or a health and wellness coach, a nutrition coach…or just tell someone that loves you.
Remember, break the stigma, break the cycle, break the shame.
Seek help when you need it, thrive, live and love your life and your body, and most importantly… love yourself.
Please ask for help.
